Thank you for your interest in the CTS Canadian Career College one-year Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program, unique in the province of Ontario. To ensure the highest patient care standards, we have instituted a rigorous admissions process. This process is designed to attract the very best students to our program. It is our goal to select students who possess the appropriate academic background that will enable them to successfully meet the challenges of our curriculum. We also strive to select only those students who will serve as stellar representatives of the College as well as the emergency medical care community. We are keenly interested in those students who have the ability and motivation to make a positive contribution to both CTS Canadian Career College and our health care system.

Your application for consideration will be evaluated by the college's review and acceptance committee upon receipt of a complete application, fee and the following documentation:

  Copy of Driver’s License Class G or better (minimum 2 yrs driving experience, less than 6 demerit points, and no suspension within 3 years)
  Copy of High School Transcript (do not include diploma)
  Copy of Post Secondary Education transcript (if applicable)
  Proof of a Senior Biology credit (minimum 60% required) prior to program start date and Senior English credit
  Copy of current Criminal Records Check aquired within last 3 months (receipt applied for is sufficient for suitability interview) – proof of clear criminal record required prior to program start date
  Current up-to-date immunization record. Verification of Immunity and Communicable Disease Form requires completion once candidate has been interviewed and selected for the program [download]
  Copy of Resume with 3 letters of reference
  Completed Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certificate
  Completed Physical Activity Readiness Form Par-Q [download]
