Academic Upgrading
CTS Canadian Career College's academic upgrading program allows
adults to improve their educational skills in order to enter post-secondary
education or to improve their job prospects.
Our upgrading program is personalized to meet an individual's
needs. An academic assessment will be performed, free of charge,
and an individualized learning plan will be developed. We will
recognize prior learning and life experience. Skills gained through
employment and life experience will contribute to customizing
the learning plan.
Small class size will contribute towards accelerated learning
and our certified teachers will provide supported classroom style
teaching.
An individualized learning plan may include:
- Reading and writing (K - 12)
- Mathematics (K - 12)
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
- Computers
Students upgrading to the Grade 12 level will be eligible to
write the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) exam at our facilities.
Students may also register for credit courses to finish their
Grade 12 diploma. CTS Canadian Career College's academic upgrading
division, in conjunction with the Independent Learning Centre,
can help students finish their diploma requirements, whether they
need one credit or ten!
Let CTS Canadian Career College help you achieve your goals in
the shortest amount of time!
